Participant information Setting Survey - Imperial College London

This project is being run by the Psychedelic Research Group at Imperial College London, led by Professor David Nutt and Dr Robin Carhart-Harris, in collaboration with the flow genome project. Its aim is to collect data on various factors associated with experiences you had in your life, that had positive or negative impact on your wellbeing. This experience may or may not include the use of a psychedelic drug. We use an online questionnaire to collect data about the experience, which should last between 10 and 40 minutes depending on then number of experiences you wish to contribute.

This study will help to advance the scientific understanding of the variables that facilitate therapeutic or counter-therapeutic experiences. This will aid the development and design of future controlled studies on psychedelic therapy and peak experiences, including clinical trials. We greatly appreciate the time you dedicate to this project. The data you provide is very valuable to us. No personally identifying information will be collected and we will not collect your IP address.

To take part, you must be at least 18 years old of age and have a good understanding of the English language.

The study involves a survey containing several questionnaires relating to demographic information, previous (psychedelic) drug use, state of mind before and during the experience, as well as environmental factors present during the experience.

Anonymity

All obtained data is anonymous, no data will be shared that will identify individuals or their responses. You can withdraw from this project at any time and you may also request that your data will be discarded at any point.
